Camille As a Performer

Camille Imperial was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. She discovered her love for dance with Steps Dance Studio under a scholarship program, training extensively in ballet, modern, and jazz. She completed the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, through the penultimate level, with merit and distinction awards. After her time at Steps Dance Studio, she worked as a freelance dancer in Manila, performing in Roberto Villanueva’s “Pieces of Me” as a soloist and with Benilde Experimental Dance. Camille also has extensive training in voice. Her vocal training began in childhood with Cynthia Guico, focusing on classical singing in Italian, French, English, and Tagalog, as well as musical theater and pop.

Camille then moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her BFA in Dance Theatre at AMDA College of The Performing Arts. During her time at AMDA, Camille expanded her training through additional styles such as hip hop, heels, musical theater, and contemporary. She was a part of multiple dance productions directed by Tracy Silver, Gheremi Clay, and Ramon Galindo. She has also successfully collaborated and built strong relationships with AMDA faculty members Genevieve Carson, Laura Berg, Stefanie Santiago, Melissa Guerin-Torres, Michelle Loucadoux, Tracy Silver, and more.
She was a company artist w/ LA Choreographers & Dancers and performed as Little Red Riding Hood in CAMP Fairy Tale LA, an immersive production with RWS Global. The show reimagined classic fairy tales through an engaging and interactive live performance experience. Camille is currently signed with Briizy Talent Agency and is excited to continue her journey as an artist through this partnership. She most recently performed in Grease as Cha Cha at the El Portal Theatre with Valley Opera of Performing Arts, also serving as their dance captain.
Camille As A Creator

Camille is also an emerging Filipino-American choreographer. In 2025, Camille choreographed and performed in a gender-bent immersive production of Julius Caesar, directed by Madeleine Woolner and produced by Row Boat Productions, which reimagined the classic play through integrated dance and movement.
She also received a DCA Performing Arts Division Commission to showcase her original choreography at the 2025 Empowerment: Edith + Etta festival. She was also an adjudicator for the 2025 Mobile Dance Film Festival. She is currently on faculty at The Dance School LA, where she teaches ballet, jazz, pointe, and conditioning and is committed to fostering a supportive, inspiring environment for dancers of all ages.
From November to December of 2024, she was awarded the 6-week Homegrown Residency by the Dance Resource Center.
Her directorial debut, “The Process of Self”, was selected to be screened at ADF’s Movies by Movers, Mobile Dance Film Festival and the Independent Silent Film Festival. She was also a semi-finalist at the Student Los Angeles Film Awards, earning recognition in the categories of Best Student Film, Best Experimental Film, and Best First-Time Director. Camille aims to continue producing and directing more thought-provoking work grounded in authentic experiences.
Camille has a notable following on TikTok with over 70k followers and has amassed more than 20 million views across all her videos. In 2020, she collaborated with TikTok Philippines to produce educational dance content for a wide audience. Camille continues to engage her followers with a mix of entertaining and personal content, reflecting her journey as a human and as an artist.
Camille hopes to perform on Broadway and in national tours. She aspires to continue creating and fostering a safe space where artists can present their most authentic selves. Camille has grown to become a versatile, intuitive, and experimental artist that allows her vulnerability to shine through her art. Outside of performing, Camille spends her time with her dogs, doing Pilates, baking, reading books, and relaxing with her loved ones.
